VIP Pig Island Tour - Koh Madsum and Koh Tan Snorkeling from Koh Samui
This half-day VIP speedboat tour is one of the most popular trips from Koh Samui - and for good reason. In just five hours you visit two of the best southern islands: you snorkel among the corals of Koh Tan and spend time with the famous pigs of Koh Madsum (Pig Island). The programme is designed as a true VIP experience - no more than 18 guests per boat, so you get space, a relaxed pace and an attentive crew from start to finish.
Snorkeling at Koh Tan Coral Reef
Koh Tan is a small, quiet island south of Koh Samui with one of the best coral reefs in the region. The water is clear and the reef sits at 2-5 metres depth, making it ideal for beginners, families and children. Among the corals you'll spot parrotfish, butterflyfish, sea urchins and occasionally green sea turtles. We provide new-design full-face snorkeling masks - far more comfortable than traditional masks, letting you breathe naturally through your nose and mouth the entire time.
Pig Island Koh Samui - Koh Madsum
Koh Madsum - known worldwide as Pig Island - is the undisputed highlight of any southern island trip from Koh Samui. Pigs roam freely along the white sand beach, wading into the sea and posing for photos with happy visitors. You can feed them, swim alongside them and simply enjoy one of the most unique beach experiences in Southeast Asia. Beyond the pigs, the island has beach swings, sports equipment (football, tennis, frisbee) and plenty of shade for relaxing on the sand. On the way to the islands the speedboat stops at a hidden lagoon with crystal clear water and at the picturesque Laemsor Pagoda - a great spot for panoramic photos.
