The Red Baron Sailing Yacht
The Red Baron is the largest sailing yacht in Koh Samui and the entire Gulf of Thailand. The vessel was built at the renowned Pernor shipyard in Surat Thani Province using takhe-thong - one of the hardest and most durable timbers in Thailand. The traditional Chinese junk design, with its twin masts and vast crimson sails, makes the Red Baron the most recognisable boat on the water.
The yacht measures 30 metres in length and 6.5 metres in beam, comfortably accommodating up to 70 passengers. The crimson sails are more than just a striking visual: they cast natural shade across the deck throughout the day, keeping guests cool even under the Thai midday sun.
Decks and Amenities on Board
The upper deck features 10 sun loungers with cocktail tables and massage recliners - the ideal spot for sunbathing and watching the horizon. The main deck has a dining table for 16 and comfortable bench seating around the perimeter. Below deck is a cosy lounge with wooden tables for 18 - a welcome retreat from the afternoon heat.
The open stern deck accommodates up to 8 more guests and houses the bar, stocked with a wide selection of refreshing cocktails and cold drinks. Fishing enthusiasts will find three dedicated fishing stations with rods included. Two showers and two toilets ensure full comfort throughout the day at sea.
Cruise Routes
The Red Baron offers four cruise routes: a romantic sunset dinner cruise to Koh Som, a full-day cruise around Koh Phangan with stops at secret beaches, a journey along Koh Samui's coastline with visits to wild offshore islands, and a full expedition into Ang Thong Marine Park. Every cruise runs all-inclusive: food, drinks, snorkeling equipment and hotel transfer are all covered.
Snorkeling from the Red Baron is one of the highlights of any cruise. The yacht anchors in scenic bays with crystal-clear water where tropical fish and sea life are easily visible from the surface. All snorkeling equipment is provided on board and included in the price.
