Elephant Kingdom
The park was founded in 2019 by Chokchai Rueangsri, whose family has owned and worked with elephants for generations. A lot of effort and energy has gone into providing the very best living space for the elephants over the course of 3 years, which would mean they are no longer chained, no longer serving and can begin to develop their instinctive behavior without fear.
A beautiful 400-meter bridge has been built in the reserve, the first of its kind on Koh Samui, where people can watch elephants in the most natural environment, as they free-range forage.Plan for the future
Our latest development is a purpose-built elephant clinic that will be available to all elephants in the area. We will have a veterinarian with special skills to provide the best possible care. We will also build a night enclosure with a roof so that the elephants can sleep at night to protect them from cold rain and dew.
